Getting started
A new job can be exciting and daunting: we’ve all been there. That’s
why we take care to welcome you and help you settle in so that your
first few weeks are a success. For example, you’ll:
- Take part in an induction programme from your very first day. It’s
organised by your line manager and includes regular one-to-one meetings
to set clear objectives and review your progress. The programme is
also a good opportunity to meet other staff with specialist knowledge
across the company.
- Be appointed a ‘peer support’ who will answer your questions and
introduce you to the informal side of life at First Rate.
- Receive online training in anti-money laundering (critical in our
business) and in First Rate’s products and services.
- Be invited to ‘First Rate Live’ a special course run by senior
managers that will give you and other new employees a more in-depth
background to the company and what you’ll get from working with us.
