Introducing the First Rate Holiday Confidence Index, the industry monitor of consumer appetite for overseas travel.

Created by First Rate, the UK’s leading foreign exchange provider and produced in partnership with the Institute of Travel & Tourism, the University of Wolverhampton and YouGov, the report will be published three times a year.

It provides individual measures of holiday intent, planned frequency, duration and associated spending, which are then combined to produce an overall index of consumer ‘holiday confidence’ for the coming 12 month period.
