2025 continues to be a transformational year for First Rate, as we now launch a rebrand of the business combined with a refreshed, new office space at Botanica, Datchet.

In order to facilitate this transformation, First Rate expanded it’s in-house design and video capabilities with a new design team. By being able to steer the look & feel of First Rate in-house, we have been able to evolve with the market and continue to be an adaptable leader in the FX industry with our fresh look and feel. This new design capability has also had the added benefit of aiding the marketing teams ability to operate more reactively to campaigns for it’s partner brands, such as Post Office, who have had an even bigger summer campaign as a result, for example with quicker turnaround on asset creation.

After several months of First Rate rebranding work, we’re now excited to unveil our new-look First Rate, the experts in foreign exchange and continuing to be a market leader in the travel finance sector.

Why a rebrand?

  • The First Rate Brand is over 20 years old and had not had any significant change since inception, having grown to be outdated and not representative of the huge success and evolution we have had as a business.
  • With the changes within the market and the business, in parallel to changes in our strategic focus this is the perfect time to refresh the First Rate brand, and is timed with our new head office relocation to Botanica, Datchet in 2025.
  • This change will allow First Rate to better re-connect with our current and future people, and corporate clients and ties into our day to day working environment.
  • First Rate is a company built on experience and expertise, and our new identity is designed to reflect this, with a trustworthy and professional look & feel across all touchpoints.
  • Much as we are evolving as a company, our visual brand identity must also do so to remain competitive.

The new branding:

  • A new look for First Rate Exchange Services begins with our logo. Embodying our dedication to trust, reputation, and leadership in the financial sector. As a brand built on trust and reputation, our hallmark represents connection, and the relationships we have built with our joint-venture, partnerships and relationships.
  • Bold, energetic and distinctive; our new suite of brand colours bring a fresh new modern look for First Rate Exchange Services.
  • Our aim is to maintain a strong and cohesive visual identity which distinguishes us from our competitors, balances professionalism, ease-of-use and empowers individuals within our organisation to have the tools they need to communicate efficiently and effectively.
  • The rebrand crosses most touchpoints across the business. With new imagery styles, logo, colours and fonts- we’re also launching presentation templates and letterheads, physical branded collateral, updated emails, corporate website, new fonts and brand colours.

Our increased marketing design capabilities and new office space will greatly improve our offering and ability to support our partners.

 

Our new office space:

  • First Rate have migrated to a new purpose-designed head office at Botanica, Datchet.
  • Our office move was facilitated by our TSK, our design and construction partners – who completed our own fitout works.
  • As a total blank canvas, we were able to craft this new office space to bring our new branding into a physical space that is better suited to our requirements as we adapt to our organisation needs.
